Rumors have been circulating about a Google-branded tablet coming out aimed at competing against the Amazon Kindle, and the Microsoft Surface and Apple iPad by default. The ones that seem to be getting left out in the dark are the OEM manufacturers. The lack-luster Windows tablets seemed to have motivated Microsoft to develop its own Tablet to compete with the iPad. Google is probably wanting to take a slice of the Android pie of which Samsung has the Lion’s share. Whether or not the Surface and Google Tablet will catch on is anyone’s guess. If anything, it will up the ante for OEM’s and perhaps motivate them to make better, smaller, and cheaper products that consumers will want to buy.
