I saw this article and was a little surprised — Chrome on iOS. Either Google managed so overcome the political battles necessary to install it on the device or the iOS version of Chrome is really Safari in Google clothing. Safari and Google do share a common ancestor — WebKit which was derived from the Konqueror browser that came out of the KDE desktop project in the Linux community.
In any case, it will be interesting to see of users replace the stock browser on iOS with Chrome as many have done on their Macs. I for sure would be more welcoming to Chrome on my iPhone than Safari if for nothing else other than stability. Safari and most all Safari derived apps do tend to crash often.
